A continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) is the total equipment necessary for the determination of a gas or particulate matter concentration or emission rate using pollutant analyzer measurements and a conversion equation, graph, or computer program to produce results in units of the applicable emission limitation or standard. CEMS are required under some of the EPA regulations for either continual compliance determinations or determination of exceedances of the standards. The individual subparts of the EPA rules specify the reference methods that are used to substantiate the accuracy and precision of the CEMS. In collaboration with our renowned manufacturers, AIMS has provided CEMS systems to many different industries in the region.
A predictive emission monitoring system (PEMS) is the total equipment necessary for the determination of a gas concentration or emission rate using process or control device operating parameter measurements and a conversion equation, a graph, or computer program to produce results in units of the applicable emission limitation or standard.
Software-based predictive emission monitoring system (PEMS) for continuous real-time monitoring of pollutants such as NOX, SO2, CO, HC or reference variables such as O2.
PEMS are an innovative and cost-effective approach to continuous monitoring of emission sources as an alternative to continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS).
Functionality: A predictive emission monitoring system cannot measure emissions directly and instead uses an empirical model to predict emissions based on historical and real-time process data.
Together with our principal DURAG Data Systems AIMS has installed PEMS in ADNOC Gas Processing in UAE.
Relative Accuracy Test Audits (RATA) compares data from a facility’s Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS) to a simultaneously collected reference method test data in order to assess the accuracy of the CEMS readings.
AIMS provides comprehensive services to our clients to ensure that they are meeting the requirements of EPA including:
Technical support to aid the facility/industry in interpreting EPA Report and understanding how it applies to their facility.
We are pleased to introduce a new line of innovative products, X-Oiler Matrix, a polymer utilized for soil & water decontamination. Developed by S.A.S Controls, X-Oiler Matrix is a super-absorption polymer that effectively locks oil and hazardous components into a stable, environmentally safe residue. As a result of the technology’s versatility, it can treat a wide range of contaminants including heavy oils and sludges that contain hazardous heavy metals such as mercury, lead, nickel, and any metal heavier than copper.
A XOiler Matrix is of two types, X-OilerOcean & X-OilerAgro. While is X-Oiler-Ocean is used for instant stabilizing, neutralizing, and cleaning of oil spills in marine areas; X-Oiler Agro is used for instant remediation of contaminated soil.
